in the mid -1980s a canadian entrepreneur purchased this site in the popular tourist area of redwood shores , California . gensler became involved with the project for reorganizing the area and converting it into the centrum business park .
‏در نیمه دهه ۱۹۸۰ یک کارآفرین کانادایی این محوطه را در منطقه توریستی عمومی از Redwood Shora‏ در ‏ ‏کالیفرنیا‏ ‏ خرید .Gensler‏ پروژه ای برای سازماندهی دوباره این منطقه و تبدیل کردن آن به پارک تجاری در دست گرفت .
today , 11 years later , the final phase of the project is being brought to a conclusion . whith six office buildings , coverin a total area of 1.6 million m2 (17.2 million ft ) , a conference and press center gymnasium , and four parking lots , the site has recently been converted into the headquarters of the oracle corporation , a leading software producer . the firs building to be developed on the campus was the ” access”structure , which now accommodates the oracle executive offices. Architectutally speaking , the design is based on simple geometrical forms: a rectangular block supported by two cylinders , projecting an image which is both striking and strong . this building faces the lake with wich it interacts by way of its blue-green g

‏امروز یعنی ۱۱ سال بعد ، دوره پایانی این پروچه در حال نتیجه رسیدن است با پنچ ساختمان اداری که کل محوطه آن ۶/۱ میلیون متر مکعب‏ (۱۷/۲ million ft2‏ ‏) است و دارای یک مرکز مطبوعات و سالن کنفراس ، باشگاه ورزشی و چهار پارکینگ است ، این محوطه اخیراً به چهار اداره مرکزی شرکت Oracle‏ ‏–‏ تولید کننده بنام نرم افزار ‏–‏ تبدیل شده است . اولین ساختمان گسترش داده شده و یک محوطه ای که ساختاری access‏ دارد که در حال حاضر با دفاتر اجرایی شرکت Oracle‏ ‏منطبق است ‏.
‏از نظر معماری ، این طرح برپایه شکلهای هندسی ساده است : یک آجر مستطیل شکل که با دو آجر استوانه ای شکل محصور شده ، تصویر بسیار جالبی را نشان می دهد .
with one single exception , the remaining office buildings are designed on the basisof a simple cylinder ,3.5m(11.5ft) in diameter ,which intersects with a rectangular block , forming a 45 angle . this sole exception is an office block which retains the cylindrical element of its neighbors but has a completely different curved shape ,giving contrast in the layout .

‏ساختمانهای اداری باقیمانده بر پایه یک استوانه ساده به قطر ۵/۳ متر ( ۵/۱۱ فوت ) طراحی شدند که با آجر مستطیل شکل به دو نیم تقسیم می شود و با زاویه ۴۵ درجه فرم داده می شوند .
‏آجر اداری است که قسمت استوانه ای شکل اطرافش را نگه می دارد اما شکل منحنی کاملا متفاوتی دارد و تضادی در یک قالب نشان می دهد .

aybold AG manufactures innovative , high quality machinery , focusing in particular on the production of prototypes. The headquarters building consists of a circular entrance in the north , from which point the route proceeds via an escalator above a light moquette floor occupying level +1 .

‏شرکت Leybold AG‏ ، تولید کننده نوآور با ماشین آلات با کیفیت و در حال حاضر روی تولیدات پیش نمونه تمرکز دارد .
‏ساختمان اداره مرکزی شامل یک ورودی مدور در قسمت شمالی است . با این نکته که مسیر پیشروی از طریق یک پله ‏برقی انجام میشود ، در بالای آن سطح level+1‏
this gives access to all the functional areas : office levels +2 and +3 by means of regularly arranged vertical access elements : and the laboratory and production areas via communicating passages and stairways descending to level 0 , wich also accommodates the product reception and dispatch areas.
